Course Description

This course provides a comprehensive study of financial management principles and practices. Students will learn about financial analysis, planning, and control; time value of money; risk and return; capital budgeting; cost of capital; and long-term financing. The course emphasizes the application of financial concepts to business decision-making in the South Sudanese context. Through case studies and financial modeling exercises, students will develop skills in financial analysis and decision-making. The course also covers the role of financial markets and institutions in the economy. By the end of the course, students will be able to make informed financial decisions that contribute to the success of an organization.
